Memberships

• How can I become a member?

  • Please read the guidelines here. The procedure to apply is provided here

• I have paid a higher or lower fee for membership. I need help in rectifying this.  

  • Please send an email with proof of the transaction to jointsecretary@isam.co.in explaining the issue

• I have graduated from college. Can I extend my student membership? 

  • No. The student membership is exclusively for students enrolled full-time in a university or college. You have to renew your membership with a new designation

Chapters

• I am a student. Can I start a local chapter in my college?

  • Yes. Please write to the President, ISAM with a copy to admin@isam.co.in and jointsecretary@isam.co.in 

• I am from a research institute or industry. How do I start a local chapter?

  • Please make a proposal on official letterhead (including the details of all contributing members) to the President, ISAM with a copy to admin@isam.co.in and jointsecretary@isam.co.in

• I am a member. Do I have to participate in all activities of ISAM?

  • You are welcome to participate in all activities of ISAM. However, ISAM does not enforce any activity in participating or conducting on any of its members

• I wish to present my work at a local chapter. Whom do I contact?

  • Please contact President and the Vice-President

Suggestions

• I have suggestions for the website. Whom do I contact? 

  • Please write to admin@isam.co.in and jointsecretary@isam.co.in

• I have suggestions for the INCAM. Whom do I contact? 

  • Please write to the President and the Vice-President

• I want my feedback to be confidential.

  • In your message to admin@isam.co.in and jointsecretary@isam.co.in, please mention the same. Your conversation will remain confidential

• I have ideas that require support (facilities, guidance, etc) from a premium institute. How do I go ahead?

  • Please make a detailed proposal on the problem you want to solve, including equipment and expertise. Send the proposal to Vice-President

• Can I start a regional chapter in my industrial area?

  •  You are welcome. Please send a draft of the same to  Vice-President

• I have read all the FAQs listed here. I cannot find what I need. 

  • Please write to the President, ISAM with a copy to admin@isam.co.in and jointsecretary@isam.co.in. You may also use the Google Form

• The Google Form is not loading. How do I reach you? 

  • Please clear the cache and reload the browser. If the issue persists, please change the browser or log in to the browser

• Do I have to contact the President or Vice-President always?

  • No. There is no hierarchy. You are welcome to contact any member of ISAM and the executive council
