ISAM, with its multi-institutional membership in the broad field of mechanics, is playing an active role in exposing and engaging young minds to the challenges faced in mechanics. ISAM has launched a new lecture series on mechanics (MLS) from eminent speakers nationwide on everyday mechanics or popular mechanics. The guidelines for the conduct of MLS are available here.
ISAM has rendered support to conduct the International Conference on Experimental Mechanics (ICEM) 2024 held at IIT Madras. The ICEM 2024 organizing committee has graciously donated Rs. 2 lakhs for the Mechanics Lecture Series.
