About ISAM

The “Indian Society for Applied Mechanics (ISAM)” was conceived as a professional body of engineers, scientists, and technologists who work in all areas of applied mechanics including engineering mechanics, solid and fluid mechanics, neuromechanics, biomechanics, etc. The congregation of individuals from industries, universities, and national labs is to have a common platform to come together for the exchange of ideas, collective learning, and knowledge dissemination through conferences, workshops, and lectures.

The Indian Society for Applied Mechanics (ISAM) is an All India registered body under “The Tamil Nadu Society Registration Act, 1975”. The society was registered on 17th October 2016; its registration number is 539/2016.
