Student Undergraduate Member
Qualification: Enrolled as an undergraduate student in any institute
Criteria: Interest in Applied Mechanics
Period of membership: Upto one year of graduation
Fees: None
Privilege: 500 INR or 10% of the registration fee as a concession on registration for any event organized by ISAM.
Student Graduate Member
Qualification: Must be enrolled as a graduate student in any institute
Criteria: Interest in Applied Mechanics
Period of membership: Upto one year of graduation
Fees: 1000 INR
Privilege: 500 INR or 10% of the registration fee as a concession on registration for any event organized by ISAM.
Life Member
Age ≥ 25 years
Qualification: A minimum degree like B.Tech., B.E., B.S., B.Sc., etc.
Criteria: Current or past affiliation with Applied Mechanics in National Labs, Industry, or Academia
Period of membership: Lifetime
Fees: 4000 INR
Privilege: (a) One voting right and (b) 500 INR or 10% of the registration fee as a concession on registration for any event organized by ISAM.
Institutional Member
Qualification: Technical Institute teaching subjects in Applied Mechanics or Technical Institute conducting R&D activities in broad areas of Applied Mechanics
Period of membership: Lifetime
Fees: 30000 INR
Privilege: (a) One voting right, (b) Free registration for TWO of its nominees to attend any event organized by ISAM, and (c) host an event of ISAM

Company or corporate member
Qualification: A technical company or industry involved in activities related to Applied Mechanics
Period of membership: Lifetime
Fees: 50000 INR
Privilege: (a) One voting right and (b) Free registration for TWO of its nominees to attend any event organized by ISAM
Affiliate Member
Qualification: Interest in the welfare and objectives of the society
Period of membership: Lifetime
Fees: 10000 INR
Privileges: (a) Listing on the website of ISAM, (b) Public felicitation at the nearest public event after becoming an affiliate member, and (c) Life membership of ISAM, if opted by the individual and if she/he satisfies the eligibility
Honary member
Qualification: Per By-law
Criteria: Current or past affiliation with Applied Mechanics
Period of membership: Lifetime
Fees: 4000 INR
Privilege: Listing on the website of ISAM
