Conferences
INCAM
The ISAM organizes a biennial conference titled "Indian Conference on Applied Mechanics" (INCAM). The conferences feature plenary and invited lectures from experts, oral presentations, focused sessions, poster sessions, and industry sessions, spanning over 3 days. Selected papers from the conference are published as a special issue in a journal. To date, five conferences have been held which focused on various areas of Applied Mechanics. The sixth INCAM will be held at NIT Warangal in July 2024.
ISAM has been conducting the Prof. R. S. Alwar Memorial Lecture as a part of all its conferences so far. This was sponsored by the savings from a conference held in the memory of Prof. R.S. Alwar several years ago. Several distinguished scientists have delivered Prof. R.S. Alwar Memorial Lecture in the past.
SWAYAM & VSAM
In addition to INCAM, two mini-conferences, SWAYAM (Symposium and Workshop of Analytical Youth of Applied Mechanics) and VSAM (Virtual Seminar on Applied Mechanics), are held as needed. SWAYAM is largely managed by the student community. VSAM is jointly managed by the industry and academia.
